Worx WG789 Self-Propelled Lawn Mower Review

WORX WG789 Lawn Mower

The WORX Self Propelled Lawn Mower With IntelliCut is a classy, and effective cordless mower that takes the “chore” feeling out of mowing.

The battery is a rechargeable, and removable 36-volt and the ignition system keeps your garden in the best shape possible. You’ll find out how simple it is to charge the battery up, press the start key, and pull the lever.

The mower’s technology has a Pace Setter on it, so it will automatically adjust to your walking pace. Operating the lawnmower is as effortless as taking a walk through the park.

Equipped with enough technological features to make your life easier in the world of lawn and gardening, you need no levers or switches to push or pull. You can adjust the speed by moving the handlebar forward and make it go faster.

Also, maintaining your beautiful machine is a cinch because there are no belts to slip or wear out.

The WORX is an ideal mower for difficult yards with tough terrains, hills and inclines. The battery can run up to 12,500 square feet per charge or for forty-five minutes straight.

The handy extras such as the 3 in 1 grass handling for discharging, mulching and cutting, as well as the power level indicator that tells you when you need to charge up.

Better than traditional mowers, there are no gas stations you need to run to, and no mixtures you need to operate it. And on top of it all, the machine is quieter and emits no emissions. It doesn’t get any better than a mower that has the power of a gas powered one that doesn’t hurt the environment.

The cutting area is ½ to 2/3 acre and the cutting swatch is 19 inches. The batter is a 36volt self-propelled and the warranty is 2 years.

Here are some of the other features…

  • 19-inch cutting width and adjustable height for mowing from 1.5 to 3.5 inches
  • 12,500 to 45 minutes for battery runs
  • Pace setter technology adjusts automatically to your own pace
  • Cordless mower with rechargeable, removable 36-volt battery

Here are some of the pros and cons…

Super quiet – in comparison to other gas-powered walk behind mowers, this is quiet as a mouse.

Looks good–very easy on the eyes and to some a head turner.

Powerful cutting-you shouldn’t have any problem on higher or wetter grasses with this machine

Expensive – even with all of the bells and whistles, it is still a bit on the pricey side.

Heavy – If it didn’t have self-propelled technology, it would be a beast to push. So don’t think you’re going to be using this without a battery!

Self-propelled doesn’t work the best – people have had a hard time operating the mower using the self-propelled technology.

The WORX WG789 19-Inch Self Propelled Lawn Mower is a feature-laden machine that does a lot in terms of power and functionality, but falls somewhat short on the more practical activities it has.

On the pricey side for the bang, but overall a decent buy.
